Affiliate links

Some links on this site and in our video descriptions are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions never decide what we recommend, and we say so in every video that contains affiliate links.

Our own product

We sell The Off-Grid Home Energy Manual. When we mention it, we're recommending our own product.

Illustrations

Our videos use animated characters and illustrations, and some images on this site and in the manual were created with AI to show typical setups. Diagrams, tables and safety information are checked against fire codes and official guidance.

No sponsorships

No brand has paid for or reviewed any of our content. If that ever changes, we'll label it clearly as sponsored.
